Roasted Turmeric Roasted Chicken

ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 5 potatoes
  • 2 peppers (red and yellow)
  • 2 zucchini
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 3 onions
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 spoons of honey
  • 1 teaspoon harissa
  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon ras el hanout
  • 3 bay leaves
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Hot water

Preparation:

  1. Cut the chicken thighs in half.
  2. Wash and chop the potatoes, peppers, squash and tomatoes. Peel the onions and garlic, cut the onions, chop the garlic.
  3. Pour the hot water into a deep baking tray. Add olive oil, honey, garlic and all other spices and mix everything into a marinade.
  4. Place the chicken and vegetables on the baking sheet and mix with the marinade. Cook in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.

Oriental style curry sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 red onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 1 banana
  • 350 g passata with tomatoes
  • 100 ml of passion fruit juice
  • 1 piece of ginger (2-3 cm)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ras el hanout
  • 1 tablespoon baharat
  • 1 tablespoon of curry powder
  • Salt

Preparation:

  1. Chop the onions, garlic, chilli, banana and ginger and fry in a pot with olive oil. Briefly saute brown sugar and spices.
  2. Brush with passion fruit juice and tomato passata and cook for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Adjust the sauce with a pinch of sugar and a pinch of salt.
  4. Blend finely in a blender or with a magic wand. (rka)
