Preparation:

  • In a food processor, blend the beans with the breadcrumbs, garlic and onion powder, salt, egg yolk, and cayenne pepper until combined. It should not be too smooth, as the balls need a certain texture. Form the mixture into 12 small balls.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a large nonstick skillet and fry the meatballs over medium heat, turning regularly, until lightly browned and heated through, 5-6 minutes. Add a little more oil if needed.
