With our simple instructions, you can enjoy your own homemade tomato sauce!
Ingredients for 1 liter:
1.5 kg of tomatoes
1 spoon of salt
1 pinch of pepper
1 tablespoon herbs (dried, as needed)
15 minutes (plus 15 minutes cooking time)
And this is how it is done:
First, wash the tomatoes, cut them in half and remove the stems. Then cut into cubes and place in a large pot. Heat and boil the tomatoes in it for about 15 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper and then remove from the stove. Roughly chop the tomatoes with a masher or fork, then pass the mixture through a sieve. If you like it better, you can puree the mixture with a hand blender so that the pieces remain intact.
Then reheat the tomato juice and pour it into a sterile water bottle. Close and turn upside down to cool completely.
