Fresh for your salad: try this fresh lemon buttermilk dressing.

In summer, lettuce is an integral part of the menu for many families. So that you don’t get bored, today we recommend this lemon buttermilk sauce. Quick and easy to make – and wonderfully fresh at the same time.

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 organic lemon
  • 250 ml of buttermilk
  • 2 spoons of honey
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt pepper

Approximately per serving:

  • 178 calories
  • 14 grams of fat
  • 10 grams of carbohydrates
  • 2 grams of protein

And this is how it is done:


  1. In the first step, wash the organic lemon well and grate the skin. Pour the grits into a measuring cup – as well as the squeezed juice.
  2. Now add buttermilk, honey, salt and pepper and mix well.
  3. Then, very carefully pour in the olive oil and mix until you have a smooth sauce. That’s it already!


Tip: Our buttermilk-lemon dressing is just ideal if you want more freshness on your salad plate – just in time for summer. Incidentally, the dressing goes particularly well with leafy green salads and mixed salads with tomatoes and cucumbers.
